PROmanager-Rx™ leverages bar-code scanning technology to increase filling accuracy and reduce dispensing errors.

PROmanager-Rx receives patient orders electronically from the Connect-Rx® system. It reads the patient bar-code label, associates the patient’s information with the Connect-Rx order, rotates the storage carousel to the position where the medication is stored, scans and selects the medication, and then delivers it either to a cassette on the bin conveyor or to a front chute, where the dispense is verified by bar-code ID scanning.

The result is a process that is fully automated and without opportunity for human error. What’s more, the system is sophisticated enough to detect any anomaly should it occur during dispensing or restocking, providing alerts and taking other appropriate actions to prevent any error.
