PROmanager-Rx™ dispenses manufacturer-packaged, bar-coded, unit dose oral solids, the safest form of medication packaging available.

Because it leverages bar-code scanning technology, the system eliminates the possibility for human error during dispensing. PROmanager-Rx receives patient orders electronically from Connect-Rx® and reads the patient bar-code label, associates the patient’s information with the order, rotates the storage carousel to the position where the medication is stored, scans and selects the medication, and then delivers it either to a cassette on the bin conveyor or to a front chute, where the dispense is then verified by bar-code ID scanning. Every dose is scanned, for the greatest possible accuracy and safety.
